Geographic Distribution

The Marine West Coast is located mostly in the west coasts of the upper middle latitudes. The locations of the Marine West Coast is partially caused by mountains.

Most of Europe has marine west coast climate. It's located in the northwestern part of Europe. Because of the mountains that run west to east, the oceanic air masses goes through more land. You can find the same climate in the northwestern part of North America and southwestern South America. However, there is less of this region than Europe because the mountains run from north to south, which block the air masses. The climate is also found in central southern Africa, southeastern Australia, and New Zealand.
